Is Social Media to blame?

The National Education Union has just reported: A new analysis indicates that more children aged between three and five engage with social media. I am sure in your observations that seems like a perfectly plausable finding. This phenomina has been recently reported in the media in many different guises. For instance, the steps (to be investigated by Ofsted) that schools have curtailed the access to social media during the school day. There is a certain irony that Ofsted and the government are concerned by this trend and indeed, whether it is connected to children's mental health.
